The sound of the ancestors

This painting is inspired by ancient Maya and Aztec traditions, where the conch shell was used in rituals to awaken spirits, call for ceremonies and spiritual rituals. They believed the sound could connect them to the gods, pray for rain, or guide the spirits of the dead.

The shaman blows the shell, his face marked with sacred symbols, looking up to the unseen. The jungle vibrates with energy, echoing the power of his call.

This piece reflects the sacred bond between humanity, nature, and the unseen.
